Jeff Shulman Please Walk the Walk

If you haven’t listened to the interview with Jeff,  I don’t know what your waiting for.  Excellent insight to his reasoning, and thinking about poker, both at the table and away.  In general I believe Jeff really wants the game to be fair to ALL players and it was obvious that he hates to see injustice done to those who don’t deserve it as well as he would like to see justice given to ALL players regardless of their “fame”,”popularity” or whatever criteria they are given special treatment.  Now I really believe Jeff feels that way, and I respect his opinion.  I also believe he makes several great points.  However, I think he needs to back up his words with real action.  IMO he should remove the advertising on Cardplayer.com and in his magazine of both UB and Absolute Poker.  Clearly they have ripped off the poker community and they should be banned from advertising with Card Player in any of their media outlets.  Then we have consistency of value in what Jeff says he stands for.  Until he does that, and I believe he has the power to do it, his stance on Harrah’s behavior rings hollow.  Even if he is 110% accurate in his assessment of Harrah’s inappropriate behavior, it still means nothing unless he walks the walk.  I don’t think he will because the almighty dollar is a powerful incentive to bend rules, give preference, and or overlook  certain things.  Oh BTW, isn’t that the exact thing he is accusing Harrahs of doing?  At the very least, at least put UB and AP in a time out……
