Ask Brian about the state of NL Hold’em cash games. Everyone has been saying they are tougher now than ever but he seems to disagree.

I would ask Mr. Townsend how he dealt with the mental side-effects of moving up in limits so quickly. Some of us mere mortals have trouble moving from .50/$1 to 1/2 NL or from $10 sngs to $20 buy ins.
I’ve read articles by Cole South and other successful players who think that consistently withdrawing money (like once a week or once a month) helped them from moving up in limits too quickly and also let them buy some cool stuff. Cole South claims that the extra time he had to spend at certain levels due to his consistent withdraw of funds helped him develop his game and playing an xbox game that poker bought helps recover from a bad session. Any thoughts on this concept?
